I wanted to make a quick stop at my kitchen altar since it’s been almost a year!🌻

I’m starting a ‘blessed hearth’ series to share some of the traditions associated with each room of a folk witch’s home, including the lore behind some of my favorite magical tools and how to use them in witchcraft (I love an apron!).

In researching saints, I also learned more about La Madamas and their roots in folk magic. I wanted a prayer card to honor them in the kitchen, but couldn’t find great art, so I created an image to use in offering based on the traditional 7-day candle. This card, along with the full article, is available for download on my Patreon.

You’ll also find a prayer card for Saint Martha, who is one of my favorite kitchen allies.

Less than one month until the equinox! I hope you’re all enjoying these last few weeks of the season (especially if the weather is cooling down).🍂
