I made my first honey cake of the year this week—it was my first time using the honeycomb mold! I didn’t realize it would turn them into little pull-apart pieces, which are so perfect for offerings. (Swipe for a closer look.)🍯

I used the recipe from Moody Moons (click here to find it). I followed it exactly and baked my cake for about an hour. It turned out *slightly* crispy on top (which is better anyway) but was otherwise super light and perfect for midsummer.

I’ve been a little more distant on socials lately, not only because my husband can finally spend time at home during summers (he’s a teacher and has a part time job deicing planes…and is a firefighter), but I’m also working on lots of beautiful stuff I’m excited to share!

Happy solstice!🌻
