Happy May Day! Here’s my altar for the season.🌺

While spring isn’t my favorite time of year, I have a lot of personal associations with this month (May 10th is my birthday!). I decided I wasn’t going to worry as much about correspondences and instead include a special arrangement of things I love.

In my last post, @unnecessarah44 commented with a really lovely and succinct quote about altars: "I'd also like to point out that all 'magic' is made stronger by believing, so I think each 'witch’s' altar should evoke a feeling of connected spirituality within her and one of the best ways is through familiar symbols."

I’d also like to point out the little sprout-shaped ribbon of incense growing from my cauldron (#27). A good omen for spring!

12 - Dried lavender
13 - Chalice (water offering)
