Kitchen altar tour!🌿

My main altar is my favorite place in our home, but since most of my day is spent in the kitchen, it's nice having a touchpoint close by.

- This is a basic metal rack that cost a couple bucks. I removed the top shelf and replaced it with...
- A piece of driftwood from our first-ever family vacation (Duck, NC)
- A picture of my grandparents
- Sage
- Lavendar
- Pine and cedar🌲
- Labradorite
- Magic wand (aka wooden spoon)🥣
- My Trader Joe's cinnamon broom still going strong🧹
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Ocean water (water element, not used for cooking)🌊
- Bay leaves
- I like to leave an open spice container that corresponds with whatever I'm cooking (the smell fills the air more than you'd think). If I'm cooking Middle Eastern and want to channel my maternal grandmother, I use cumin. If I'm doing Italian, it's basil or oregano. For baking, I love rosemary.
- Crystals (strawberry quartz for bringing love, obsidian for removing negativity, Lemurian quartz for healing and spiritual connection, all from @thehazelwitch)
- Offering dish (right now it's filled with Dots candy, they were my grandfather's favorite)
- Cauldron
- My Martha. It took me forever to find her (I'll share the story under my 'altar' highlight). Fun fact: The term "martha" in The Handmaid's Tale, used to designate the serving-women who helped organize the resistance, was inspired by the biblical Martha.
- Loose incense
- Cookbooks (currently for cookies)
- Red pillar candle for energy (from @indigoowlcultureshop)
- Green and black chime candles
