Equinox witch's ladder

We’re less than a week away from the equinox and I re-wove my ladder to capture the last traces of summer.🌾

Our Michaelmas daisies really came to life just ahead of the holiday on the 29th so I added some blossoms from the garden. And since we’re just about at the peak of harvest season, I attached the traditional wheat stalks (a symbol of fertility and prosperity).

The bouquet is a mix of plants I’ve gathered over the last few weeks, including sorghum, marigold, bunny grass, and pumpkin tree. I swear flowers live forever on my altar.

I have these two folk Mary statuettes available for patrons (available publicly Tuesday). Like with my altar, the colors are making a slow transition into the fullness of autumn. 🍁
