Folk witch uncensored

Happy Halloween and Blessed Samhain! I wanted to quickly share a new project I’ve been working on this month.🌞

Folk Witch Uncensored is a blog I created to share the more intimate aspects of a folk practice. Access will be included as a benefit for all patrons.

For the past year or so, I’ve been trying to figure out the best place to explore certain topics that aren’t exactly suited for Instagram. While the main Patreon feed was initially an option, I’ve mentioned that perhaps discussions on nail clippings didn’t quite fit among recipes for apple pie. (I’ll still be publishing the same amount of newsletters, hearthcraft projects, patterns, recipes, etc. in that space.)

I’ve also been conscious of making sure that IG’s ever-changing and unknowable standards aren’t influencing or directing (or completely removing) my art and the things I want to publish.

Right now, you’ll find two articles on subjects I’ve been wanting to delve into: blood magic and veiling. I also have a couple shorter entries on bibliomancy—I'll be posting weekly or semi-weekly reflections on random verse or scripture (my version of a card pull).

In addition to the above, the blog will include traditional spellwork and historical magic, deeper religious reflection and rites, and personal journals (namely my navigation of mental health and trauma within a solitary practice). I’m sure it will evolve depending on which aspects are most useful but I’m looking forward to exploring these themes with a more intimate group.

You can find the blog here.

Thanks as always for your support!
