This is the recipe I use to make my favorite incense blend.🌲 It’s called Pennsylvania Bonfire and it’s exactly what it sounds like:

-white pine bark
-white oak bark
-hydrangea root
-cinnamon

I love having a special mix that serves no other purpose than setting my own vibe. Before I started practicing, I would get so much energy from being outside at night in the summer, either around my own fire or in the middle of a neighborhood where everyone’s grilling. I tried a hundred different bonfire-scented candles before realizing I could just build a mini cauldron version. It’s an instant motivator and puts me firmly in the center of my practice.
