It's been a while since I added to my floss collection, so I finally picked up a bunch to go along with a couple new patterns. I've been using the same group since starting the tapestree, so it will be nice to add some new color.
I also got some darker linens, which I rarely use, but are perfect for primitives.
I love pretty much any pattern with a house. American Sampler (Plum Street Samplers) has been on my wishlist since last summer. I've also been feeding a Stacy Nash obsession. I found two of the Hollyberry Farm series (Halloween and Summer) and will need to save up for Spring and Christmas.
It's been a busy week for us. We've both been stressed with having to move soon, but fortunately the weather has been brighter. I can't wait to have a garden. Today was mostly shopping and ice cream.
There aren't any big additions to the tapestree this week, but I managed to fill in some white space and stitch a few more frames.
One of the fillers is a tiny group of motifs I designed from Moana. Chuck and I watched it last week and both loved it. It was definitely my favorite recent Disney movie.
This is the second movie I've added since Catching Fire in 2013 (4 years ago!). I like the addition of movies, not only as an indication of something I enjoyed, but as part of the visual timeline.
I was also thinking of adding a small design for the new Beauty and the Beast, which I also really liked (although, not as much as Moana). The list of ideas keeps growing!
